Edible Paints




Put your mind at ease when your child is using these paints, they are edible!

A note about the food coloring: Many parents are concerned with the effects of food coloring in food that their children eat, this is a valid concern.

In place of traditional food coloring in these recipes you could use natural food coloring. Health food stores often carry natural food coloring made from fruits, vegetables, and herbs.


Pudding Finger Paint

Ingredients:

1 package of instant vanilla pudding food coloring milk bowl whisk

Directions: Follow the instructions on pudding box, and prepare pudding. Once it has set add food coloring! You can make separate colors by separating portions in food prep bowls. This is a onetime use project. Very good with toddlers.


Milk Paint

Ingredients:

1 can of sweetened condensed milk food coloring mixing bowl whisk

Combine all ingredients in mixing bowl. You can make separate colors by separating portions in food prep bowls. This is a onetime use project. This dries with a shiny finish!


Yogurt Paint

Ingredients:

1 container or 8 oz of your favorite vanilla yogurt berry juice of your choice or food coloring

Mix together and use as a yummy finger paint!
