Dried Fruit Garlands

Dried fruit garlands make an excellent gift for teacher, family, and friends.

**************************************************

Supplies:

Dried fruit: apples, oranges, lemons work best

Cinnamon sticks

Bay leaves

Large plastic needle

Bakers twine

Ribbon

Decorative buttons or beads

*********************************************************

Directions:

Cut your twine to the length of your desired garland adding a few inches on each side. Tie a knot with a loop on the end and string on your needle and add a few beads and buttons on the end.

Begin to string on your dried fruit, buttons, beads, bay leaves and cinnamon sticks in a nice repeating pattern.

When you are finished string the same pattern of beads or buttons in the same pattern that you did at the beginning, remove needle, and tie it off with a loop.

The loops on each end make it easy to hang. Store in an airtight container to retain the scent until you plan to give it as a gift, or hang it.
