Silly Putty

A great and easy recipe for kids to make silly putty! This is a great rainy day project.

Supplies:

1 cup white glue

1/2 cup liquid starch

food coloring

bowl

wooden spoon

Directions:

Combine glue and starch and mix until well combined, stir in food coloring. You may have to let it sit out for a bit before it is the right consistency. Store in an airtight container.

What to do with your silly putty

1. Form it into a ball shape, and use it like a bouncy ball.

2. Press it on a newspaper, and the print will transfer onto your putty.

3. Use it like clay.
